
As a Tourist
It was in April 1988, when I set out for a around the world trip at my own. I obtained earned leave (4+3) months from my department (Pakistan Science Foundation) in the Federal Ministry of Science Technology, Islamabad) and performed Umra in the last week of April 1988. From Jeddah to U.K I travelled through Italia, Spain, Germany, France, to U.K. I left for Canada and therefrom went up to North Pole Point. I am the first Pakistani, who enjoyed a visit of North Pole Point (by now). From Canada, I travelled in 1989, towards USA then to Hawai in 1989, I obtained leave from my department and set out for a world tour again and visited almost six sub continents of this globe. Hundreds of cities and historical places, educational and scientific institution. Sky-high buildings, museums and zoological garden etc. were visited. In USA, I visited 36 states out of 51, can say none else can boast of it, even a person from USA. From Boston to California and Michigan downwards Florida. Safely, I can say that I visited USA, horizantally and vertically both. I visited Lake Tahoe in Ca; Moirs trees (Red Forest) in ca, Disney land in San Francisco and many more historical places. After 1988, and 1989’s round the world trips, I visited Europe, Asia, Africa, Southeast Asia in year 1995, 1996, 1997, 2000, 2003, 2004.
